1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using EduLens AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Use of the Service
EduLens AI is an AI-powered educational tool designed to help students understand academic problems. You agree to use the app only for lawful, educational purposes.
- You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
- AI-generated content is for educational guidance only and should not be submitted as your own original work.
3. Subscriptions, Payments & Auto-Renewal
EduLens AI offers the following paid subscription plans:
- Free — Free forever, 3 scans/day, 2 AI Tutor sessions/day (Simple Mode)
- Pro Monthly — €5.99/month — Unlimited scans, all AI Tutor modes, Brain Spark, Voice Tutor, PDF Cheat Sheets
- Pro Annual — €47.99/year — Everything in Pro Monthly, Save 33%
- All Pro plans include a 3-day free trial. Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Billing.
Auto-Renewal:
- All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The renewal price is the same as the original subscription price unless you are notified otherwise.
How to Cancel Auto-Renewal:
- App Store (iOS): Go to iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → EduLens AI → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Web (Stripe): Go to Settings → Manage Billing to cancel via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds:
- For App Store purchases: request refunds directly via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- For web purchases via Stripe: contact customercare@edulens-ai.com. Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- No refunds are issued for partial billing periods after cancellation.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Solutions and explanations are generated by AI models (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude). While we strive for accuracy, EduLens AI makes no guarantees about the correctness of AI-generated content. Always verify important information with a qualified teacher or textbook.
5. Intellectual Property
The EduLens AI app, branding, and design are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of the images and text you upload.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduLens AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
7. Account Deletion & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
- You will be asked to type "delete" to confirm the action.
- All data (scans, mastery records, history) will be permanently erased within 30 days.
- Any active paid subscription will be cancelled with no refund for the remaining billing period.
Account Recovery:
- You may cancel a deletion request by emailing customercare@edulens-ai.com within 30 days.
- After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
- You may register a new account with the same email after deletion, but prior data will not be recoverable.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
